Q: Can parents watch classes?
Pre-School dance classes are conducted in our Melon studio which has 1-way viewing windows through which the class may be seen. Curtains will be drawn at intervals throughout the year to allow the class to operate completely without the chance of distraction or for students to give parents a surprise by showing what has been learnt! Parents are not permitted to regularly watch any classes from inside any studio. Some teachers may nominate, at their discretion, parent viewing days or invite parents to watch a lesson or run through.

Q: Are class sizes limited?
Class sizes are restricted although these limits may vary depending on the class/ style/ discipline. For most classes this limit is approximately 25 students.

Q: How will I be billed for classes at EDA?
An account will be posted to you prior to the start of each term. This invoice must be paid in full before classes begin for the term stated on the invoice. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions attached to your Enrolment Form or attached to your invoice. Additional copies of these Terms & Conditions are available form the EDA office.

Q: What if I/ my child would like to transfer to or pick up another class after I have enrolled?
We ask that you consult our office before transfers so we can check availability of spaces in the class, correct your account and let teachers know of any new students to their classes. Please contact EDA office for any class adjustments.

Q: Who do I contact at EDA when I have any questions?
To discuss any accounts/ fees, enrolment details, merchandise and general information about studio events, rehearsals, notes, dates etc contact the EDA office on 9545 3033 see Contact Us page for office hours.
For discussions about individual children, class content, costumes etc- a formal communication note is available at reception/ admin office which when completed will be passed directly onto your/ your child’s class teacher.

Q: How do I find out about general notices and information?
We have a weekly newsletter called the EDA News. This newsletter is available from the displays at both entrances to the reception area and on the internet at www.ettingshausens.com.au via the members area. Please be sure to check this note each week as it includes a great deal of information which may be relevant to your child such as performance/ rehearsals, seminars, new merchandise and general studio information.

Q: When can I see the studio/ arrange enrolment?
At the beginning of each calendar year, we have several enrolment days which are advertised in the Leader. These provide an opportunity for new and current students to come up to the studio and speak to teachers and members of staff about the timetable and also to ask questions regarding fees and merchandise.
During the rest of the year, please contact a member of our Customer Service Team during business hours on 9545 3033 to discuss classes and enrolment. Tours of our studio can also be arranged.
